Annual First Aid Refresher Training – Course Overview
This refresher course is designed for anyone who has previously either completed the 3 day First Aid at Work, or 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work qualifications. The half-day is completely practical, with scenarios throughout and the opportunity to discuss key points of interest within your business with the instructor.
We can tailor our way of teaching to the requirements of your workplace so that you get the most relevant and vital information and maybe even new and updated methods of treating injuries in your workplace.
Employers are legally required to ensure their First Aiders are competent and maintain their skills throughout the three years in which their certificates are valid. This three-hour refresher course provides First Aiders with an opportunity to practise and update their skills as a qualified First Aider, at any time while their First Aid certificate is valid.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) strongly recommends that you attend Annual First Aid Refresher Training once every year during this three-year period.
This Annual First Aid Refresher Training course should be provided in the years when a First Aider is not initially qualifying or re-qualifying.
