Oxygen Therapy Administration – This training enables users to administer oxygen safely and effectively, for casualties with breathing difficulties. Delegates will learn how and when to administer oxygen to a casualty and the safety concerns with carrying, storing and administering it. This course is suitable for qualified First Aiders, Emergency First Aiders, Dental Practitioners and Dental Care Professionals, Nurses, Healthcare Professionals and others working in an environment where oxygen is available for casualty welfare.

| Assessment |
The course Instructor is responsible for determining whether delegates pass or fail based on practical and oral assessment throughout the course, i.e. by observation and oral questioning, as well as the completion of a multiple-choice question paper at the end of the course. The Instructor will only award a pass if they believe that delegates have displayed the requisite understanding and competencies at the end of each session throughout the course and successfully completed the question paper. |
The syllabus for this course meets the HSE and Resuscitation Council (UK) training recommendations.
Oxygen Therapy Administration Course – Location + Duration
This course can be run in-house, or at a location of your choice for up to 12 delegates.
The HSE recommend at least 6 training contact hours for this course, which can be delivered in 1 day, or broken down into individual days/evenings to suit you.
Delegates must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment, which is done by continuous observation and questioning during the course.

Oxygen Therapy Administration Qualification
On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Level 3 (RQF) Oxygen Therapy Administration Certificate, which is valid for three years. This course is Regulated by Ofqual under their Regulated Quality Framework (RQF) and accredited by the FAA.
