Workplace Health And Safety Course – Overview
Workplace Health And Safety – This is an excellent introduction to health and safety in the workplace and will benefit all employees, particularly those who may be accepting a health and safety role, such as a safety representative within their organisation.
It ensures that delegates are complying with all relevant legislative guidance and covers essential areas of health and safety, including risk assessments, making certain that delegates are able to maintain a safe working environment.
In 2015-2016, 144 workers were killed in UK workplaces. In addition to the tragic loss of life and personal suffering, employers found themselves faced with court fines and costs, increased insurance premiums, compensation claims, reduced productivity, damaged reputation and low staff morale. This qualification will help avoid such consequences.
Successful candidates will be awarded a national Level 2 (Level 5 in Scotland) Workplace Health And Safety qualification which will provide an ideal platform to higher level training or career development.
